On November 30, 2021, European Business Forum was held at Vienna House Easy Katowice together with the Final Gala for among others Top Quality International Program. Our company was represented by Mr. Witold Lipka-Auguścik, Representative of President of the Management Board for Integrated Management System.
Top Quality International is a nationwide project aimed at promoting effective quality management methods in companies and institutions. Its second goal is to identify and distinguish those companies and institutions which represent highest standards guaranteeing clients and consumers that they will receive a top-quality product or service.
Warbud has received "Złoty Wiąz (Golden Elm)" distinction from Mayor of the Wiązowna commune. The award is an expression of the highest recognition for entrepreneurs who stand out in their business activities and contribute to the development and promotion of the commune and build its good image. We are very pleased that local government units with which we have been cooperating for years appreciate our efforts in building long-term relationships in business and attitudes promoting corporate social responsibility.
On 5 November 2021 Warbud signed a contract for the expansion the existing Ball Packaging Europe production plant in Lublin. The Client is a leading European manufacturer of aluminium cans. On Warbud’s part, the contract was signed by Mr. Grzegorz Chudzik - Member of the Management Board and Mr. Daniel Okoński - Law Director and Proxy, and on the Client’s part by Carey Stafford Causey - President of Ball Beverage Packaging Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Ball Corporation and Robert Granosik - Member of the Management Board of Ball Packaging Europe and Director of the Plant in Lublin.
The 8th edition of the "Safety Week", a huge undertaking to improve safety in construction, has come to an end. Warbud SA employees and subcontractors participated in the activities organized at construction sites.
The event was inaugurated at the construction site of the Hospital of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Wołomin by Mr. Lech Wąsowski, Director of Centre Region, and Sebastian Lewiński, Deputy Director for Health and Safety. They unanimously emphasized that safety at construction sites is of paramount importance and following this year's slogan "Necessarily Safe" we should take care of safe behaviour not only at work, but also outside of it.
The construction of the newest Orange Polska data centre which started last year has been completed. The facility is ready for use. It will include both the key elements of the operator's network and the infrastructure for its clients.
On 28 September 2021 General Meeting of Shareholders decided to change the composition of Warbud SA’s Management Board. New Management Board was then appointed composed of: Mr. Sebastien Morant - acting President of the Management Board, Ms. Małgorzata Kończal and Mr. Grzegorz Chudzik - Board Members.
On October 4, 2021, we started the eighth edition of the Safety Week a festival of responsibility and common sense at work, uniting and integrating the entire construction industry. It will last until October 10 and offers participants workshops, competitions, demonstrations of modern safety solutions, lectures and demonstrations.
On September 28, 2021, the annual Construction Project of the Year competition was resolved. In this year's edition, Warbud was honored with two gold statuettes for the construction of POW - Southern Warsaw Ring Road motorway project, section C, and for the construction of the Skyliner skyscraper in Warsaw's Wola district.
