On 25 September 2026, WARBUD signed a contract for the refurbishment of premises for the Prof. Eleonora Eichner National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation in Warsaw.

The contract was signed on behalf of WARBUD by Mr. Lech Wąsowski – Member of the Management Board and Mr. Piotr Tokarz – Director of the Healthcare Construction Division, and, on behalf of the Client, by Ms. Taida Muchla-Jastrzębska – Acting Director of the Prof. Eleonora Eichner National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation in Warsaw.

As part of the project, part of Wing B of the main hospital complex will be refurbished to create a block of premises housing a Specialist Outpatient Care Centre. The scope of work covers a comprehensive refurbishment of three of the building’s six existing storeys, covering both construction and fit-out works. The time for project completion is February 2027.

On September 29, 2026, an award ceremony was held in Warsaw’s headquarters of the Polish Federation of Engineering Associations NOT, closing the competition organised by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians. The jury selected Poland’s best construction projects in the year 2025. The gala, which also serves as an integration event for the construction industry, is held annually in the last week of September, when we celebrate Construction Workers’ Day.

In this year’s 36th edition of the contest, WARBUD was honoured with a gold statuette and the title of Construction Oscar for the construction of the Collegium Orthopaedicum in Otwock (Prof. Adam Gruca Science, Teaching and Cadaver Training Centre of Clinical Hospital) and a silver statuette for the construction of the Silesian Centre for Paediatric Oncology and Haematology in Zabrze. 

On 21 July 2026 WARBUD, in a consortium with MERITUM Construction Group, signed a contract to refurbish the Admissions Department to serve as the Hospital Accident and Emergency Department (A&E) at the Zagłębie Clinical Hospital in Czeladź.

The hospital was represented by its Director, Ms. Aldona Sylwa. WARBUD was represented by Mr. Lech Wąsowski – Member of the Management Board – and Mr. Piotr Tokarz – Director of the Healthcare Construction Division. On behalf of the consortium partner, Meritum Grupa Budowlana, the contract was signed by Mr. Michał Zając, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.

On 17 July 2026, a ceremony was held at General Tadeusz Kościuszko Land Forces Academy in Wrocław to mark the opening of the new sports complex and the refurbished barracks building.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of National Defence, including Under-Secretary of State Mr. Stanisław Wziątek, representatives of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, the Wrocław Garrison and the Land Forces Academy, acting as the contracting authority, and WARBUD SA, the main contractor for the project. Our company was represented at the ceremony by Mr. Nicolas Dépret, Chairman of the Management Board of WARBUD SA; Mr. Grzegorz Chudzik, Member of the Management Board, Mr. Damian Lewiński, Contract Director; and Mr. Tomasz Nowak, Site Manager.

WARBUD has been awarded a contract for the extension of the Specialist Outpatient Clinic building at University Clinical Hospital No. 4 in Lublin.

The contract was signed on 3 July 2026 by Mr. Lech Wąsowski – member of WARBUD SA’s management board, Krzysztof Siemionek – Head of the Tendering Department, and on behalf of the Client by Mr. Piotr Rybak – Deputy Director for Hospital Finance and Development.

The subject of WARBUD’s new contract is the construction of an apartment building situated at the junction of Rydygiera and Przasnyska Streets in Warsaw.

The contract was signed on 7 July 2026 by Mr. Nicolas Dépret – Chairman of WARBUD SA’s Management Board, and Mr. Tomasz Jermaków – Director of the company’s Division Centre. The contract was signed on behalf of the investor, VIG Polska Real Estate Sp. z o.o., by Ms. Alicja Beym, Chair of the Management Board, and Mr. Michał Leja, Management Board Member.

The symbolic ribbon-cutting for the Diagnostic Imaging Centre at Gliwice Municipal Hospital was performed by Ms. Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda - Minister of Health; Mr. Przemysław Gliklich - Chairman of the Board of the Municipal Hospital in Gliwice and Ms. Agnieszka Dylewska, Deputy Mayor of Gliwice. WARBUD was represented at the ceremony by Mr. Lech Wąsowski, Director of Region South and Member of the Management Board, Mr. Artur Jeżewski, Contract Director, and Mr. Piotr Rybicki, Site Manager.

Nicolas Dépret, WARBUD’s Chairman, has been elected Member of the Council of the Franco-Polish Chamber of Commerce (CCIFP) for the 2026–2029 term, representing the large enterprises group. Subsequently, at the first meeting of the newly elected Council, which took place on June 23, 2026, he also joined the CCIFP Board of Directors.

A traditional topping-out ceremony has taken place at the Skyliner II construction site, marking the achievement of the final height of the building’s structure and the conclusion of one of the most important stages of the project. The second tower of the complex being developed by Karimpol Polska, with WARBUD SA as the main contractor, has reached a height of 130 metres. The project is now entering its final phase, which involves the construction of the façade, the installation of services and the interior finishing, and the building is becoming an increasingly prominent feature of the capital’s skyline.

The prestigious TopBuilder 2026 awards have just been presented. WARBUD SA won the gold award in the building projects category for the construction of the second stage of the Central Integrated Clinical Hospital in Poznań. The awards ceremony took place on May 28 at the Zamojski Palace in Warsaw, the headquarters of the Association of Polish Architects – a partner of the competition. The team behind the award-winning project was represented at the event by Mr. Piotr Tokarz, Director of the Medical Construction Division, and Mr. Jacek Surmacz, Contract Manager for CZSK II.
