Warbud will design and build Section C of Southern Bypass of Warsaw - one of the biggest road construction projects in recent years

On 11 December 2015 Warbud S.A. signed a contract for designing and construction of Section C of the Southern Bypass of Warsaw - S2 Expressway from 'Wał Miedzeszyński' junction to 'Lubelska' Junction with a length of approx. 7.5 km.  The Employer is the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA).

Warbud will design and build the following facilities:

  • S2 expressway with an overall length of approx. 7.5 km 
  • 'Patriotów' junction with associated structures
  • flyovers in Mazowiecki Landscape Park
  • 4 road viaducts
  • local roads
  • service and access roads
  • pedestrian walkways and cycle roads.

The contract also covers the construction of  power supply networks, street lighting systems, telecommunication channels, optical fibre networks, rainwater sewers, water distribution lines, sewers, gas networks, land drainage systems and planting of greenery.

Net contract value for Warbud: 456 634 400.17 PLN

Time for completion: 41 months from the commencement of the works (work will not be carried out the period from December 15 to March 15).
