Warbud has signed a contract for the construction of a new building with an underground garage and an underground connector with the existing Building K of the parliament complex at Wiejska St. in Warsaw.
The contract was signed on 14 January 2016. The investor for the project is the Chancellery of the Polish Sejm. The building was designed by architectural studio Stelmach i Partnerzy Sp. z o.o.

The building will contain rooms for Sejm committee meetings, supporting staff offices and technical rooms. The building, according to the requirements of Capital City Historic Buildings Conservation Officer, will have the same height as the Old MP House - 24.0 m from the surface of the pavement along Wiejska St. The functional layout of the building is designed in a way providing an open view from the parliamentary committee meeting rooms onto Górnośląska St. and making them visible from that street.

Levels -1 and -2 of the building will be situated partially under Wiejska St. The underground part of the building will be connected with the existing Building K by a connector at levels -5.60 and -3.45 m. In order to make the connection fully functional Warbud will also rebuild Building K. The changes will not affect the façade. The elevation of the new building will contain vertical perforations with window openings (French windows). The building's cornices and horizontal proportions will refer to the monumental Old MP House building opposite.

There will also be two car lifts providing access to 15 underground parking spaces.
