On 29 February an Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders accepted the resignation of Mr Włodzimierz Włodarczyk as Chairman of Warbud S.A.'s Management Board. Mr Jerzy Werle, previously the Vice-Chairman and Director General of the Company, was appointed new Chairman of the Board.

Mr Włodzimierz Włodarczyk is the founder of Warbud S.A. holding for many years the function of the Chairman of the Company Management Board. He has received numerous awards such as a Honorary Statuette of the Polish Enterprise Development Programme, the titles of Best Manager and Leader of Polish Business as well as the badge "For Merits for the Construction Industry".

The Company run by Mr Włodarczyk became in less than 25 years one of the largest and most valued general contractors in the Polish construction market. Warbud implements construction projects in the fields of enclosed buildings, industrial and environmental protection facilities and builds special and civil structures. The Company employs more than 1000 people and its revenue in recent years exceeded 1.2 billion PLN. The Company is part of the VINCI Group - one of world's largest concerns operating in the construction and related services sector.
