On October 15, 2018 in Jachranka near Warsaw, an awards gala was held in the 10^th edition of the Public Tender Crystals 2018 competition. The jury appreciated Warbud for the comprehensive process of designing, building, financing and maintaining the new seat of the District Court in the public-private partnership formula. The award was collected on behalf of Warbud by Mr Pawel Żółtak, Contract Director at DBS.

Warbud SA, one of the leading general contractors in Poland has been allocating part of its profits to charities since the beginning of its business activities.  In August 2008, the company decided to create its own foundation Warbud - Warto Pomagać to make its initiatives even more effective. Since then it has been continuously building joy and hope among those in need.

Warbud has signed a contract with Chopin Airport Development for the construction of a Moxy brand hotel being part of the Marriott International chain. The contract was signed on July 6, 2018. On July 26^th cornerstone was officially placed for the building - a capsule with a ground-breaking plaque and souvenirs for posterity, which officially began the construction of a new building. The ceremony was attended by among others airport authorities and city representatives. Warbud was represented by Jerzy Werle, President of the Management Board.

Warbud's latest contract was signed on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11.00 hours in the office of the Mayor of Toruń.  Under the contract Warbud will build as general contractor the seat of District Court building in Toruń, located in the area of Zwycięstwa Square and Jagiellońska, Grudziądzka and Warneńczyka streets. Warbud was represented by Mr. Wojciech Gerber, Board Member and Mr. Daniel Okoński, Proxy. The Client was represented by Mr. Marian Pieńczewski, Director of the Court of Appeals in Gdańsk.

On 4 July 2018, Warbud signed a contract with the Commune of Świdnik for designing and construction of an indoor swimming pool, a complex of outdoor pools and sports fields. Warbud's tasks also include the supply of equipment specified in the functional and utility programme. The project will be implemented in the "design and build" formula.

This has been the first case in the history of the tournament that the VINCI cup was won by a team from outside France. The football tournament organised for a number of years in Montesson near Paris this year turned out to be victorious for Warbud. After five years of hard struggle after which the Warbud team was eliminated in the quarterfinals - on 22 June 2018, the team reached the final and won the whole tournament. They did in in a fantastic style! Our team competed against 21 teams from French and foreign VINCI Group companies, including a team from Great Britain and a team from Africa consisting of players from Mali, Senegal and Sudan.

Warbud received with a silver statuette for the construction of the District Court in Nowy Sącz. The award ceremony took place in Warsaw on Tuesday, May 26. It was the 28^th edition of the competition organised by Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians - PZIiTB. The Jury chose best construction projects of the year 2017 in Poland. The award on behalf of Warbud was received by Mr. Paweł Żółtak, Contract Director at DBS and Mr. Piotr Szewczyk, PPP Specialist at Finance and Administration Division.

'Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Poland, a country with over a thousand years of history, tradition and culture. I am honoured that the first VCIN Convention is taking place right here in Warsaw,' in these words Mr. Jerzy Werle, Chairman of Warbud's Management Board and Director General welcomed the participants of the inaugural plenary session which took place in the Sofitel Victoria hotel.

Last week Warbud signed a contract with Eme Aero Sp. z o. o. for the construction of one of the largest and most modern plants for servicing, repair and inspections of aircraft engines - EME Aero.

EME Aero is a joint venture of two German companies: Lufthansa Technik AG and MTU Aero Engines AG. The facility will be built in the so-called 'Aviation Valley', located at about 1 km from the Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport.

Eagles of the 'Wprost' weekly, awards for regional and business leaders were given on May 16 at a gala at the Capitol Theatre in Warsaw. The 'Wprost' award given to most dynamic enterprises was received by over forty companies from the Mazovia Province. We are pleased to announce that Warbud was also among them. Warbud's award was collected by Mr. Piotr Mika, Board Member.
