Warbud will perform building and installation work at Warsaw Medical University Sports and Rehabilitation Centre

On 30 December 2014 Warbud S.A. signed a contract for the construction of a Sports and Rehabilitation Centre for Warsaw Medical University (phase 2). The investor is Warsaw Medical University. The project is implemented under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment. On Warbud's part the contract was signed by its Administration and Finance Director and Board Member Mr. Mirosław Józefczuk, WUM was represented by its Rector, prof. Marek Krawczyk, PhD.

Warbud will implement the project as the Leader of a consortium with the company Polonez Plus Spółka z o.o.

Warbud will perform the following works:

  • general building works (fit-out works) and soft landscaping.
  • electrical and wiring works
  • sanitary installation works encompassing solar system, heat recovery and heating service lines
  • Olympic size swimming pool (with dimensions of 25 x 51.5 m) with complete changing room and sanitary and technical facilities and rooms for life guards and coaches
  • training swimming pool (with dimensions of 10.5 x 25 m)
  • indoor climbing wall
  • bowling alley
  • sports hall with a court division option
  • specialist sports halls (gym, martial arts and gymnastic and training facilities) with changing room and sanitary facilities, technical rooms and administration rooms
  • technical rooms and changing and sanitary rooms for physiotherapy
  • movable stands
  • skybox -VIP stands

The Warsaw Medical University Sports and Rehabilitation Centre with a total area of 20,022.88 m2 usable floor area of 13,961.52 m2, was built along Ks. Trojdena St. in Warsaw. The facility has 2 floors above ground and 1 substructure floor. The facility will house sports and educational facilities in a complex of buildings connected by an underground parking for 108 cars with water treatment facilities.
