Warbud signs a contract for concrete structures at Opole Power Plant turbine hall

Warbud has signed a contract with Polimex Projekt Opole sp. z o.o. (a special purpose entity formed by Polimex Mostostal) to build reinforced concrete structures of the turbine hall for power units 5 and 6 at Opole Power Plant - Phase 2.

The investor for the project is PGE GiEK S.A. and the main contractor - a joint venture of Rafako S.A., Polimex Mostostal S.A. and Mostostal Warszawa S.A.

The scope of work contracted to our company covers the construction of:

  • two turbine foundations with thickness of 345 cm on columns with height of 18.7 m
  • feed water pump foundations
  • vertical elements and floor slab at level 0.00.

Total quantity of concrete to be built in: 19 180 m3

Scheduled project duration: March 2015 - November 2015
