Warbud has won a contract for the construction of two buildings for the Institute of Psychology and the Faculty of Political Science of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University at ul. Głęboka in Lublin.
The contract was signed on 12 December 2018: His Magnificence Rector of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University prof. Stanisław Michałowski and on the part of Warbud by Mr Piotr Ordon - Director of Region East.
As part of the contract, Warbud will build a complex of facilities at the Faculty of Political Science and the Institute of Psychology, which will consist of three functionally connected buildings with a total area of over 11,000. sqm. On the west side of the complex there will be a Faculty of Political Science with usable area of 4500 sqm, while in the east wing there will be Institute of Psychology with an area of 2800 sqm. The remaining part, the so-called connector, will be occupied by public facilities such as a library, changing room, bar and technical rooms.
In addition to lecture, computer rooms and classrooms, the new Faculty of Political Science will also include: science club rooms, the headquarters of Legia Akademicka, student's own work rooms, TV studios and an electronic shooting range. The new Institute of Psychology, in addition to teaching rooms, will house among others, a psychological tests laboratory or a room for an academic support centre.
