European Social Fund (EFS) is the most important EU instrument used to support human resources development and prevent unemployment, and also the main instrument to support activities performed within the framework of the European Employment Strategy.

We are very pleased to that Warbud SA will implement three training programmes in the period between 15 December 2008 and 15 December 2009 which have received funds from the Operational Programme Human Capital, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund - implemented and supervised by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP).

1. “People first – qualified personnel as a foundation of Warbud SA development”

2. “Construction Manager Academy – development of competence and technical knowledge”

3. “Professionalism and safety – a foundation of Warbud SA development”

The total value of the public support for the 3 projects amounts to PLN 9 083 789.67.

We must note that we obtained financing for all the projects submitted by our company in a single competition organized within the Operational Programme Human Capital. It is an unprecedented event in Poland – it constitutes a distinction for our company in comparison with other firms operating not only in the construction sector.

In the 2 year period we will organize 618 days of training related to the 3 projects and encompassing the following training programmes:

• “soft” training sessions – negotiations, time management, communication, team management, cooperation in a team, 
• technical trainings – structures, foundations, insulations, working with computer programmes supporting the building processes, 
• Health and Safety trainings.

We estimate that 6020 people will participate in all the training sessions. The obtained financing constitutes a unique opportunity for Warbud SA to achieve its business objectives and our employees will also have a chance to pursue their personal goals.
