Warbud wins the title 'The one who changes Polish industry A.D. 2016'

Editors of Nowy Przemysł Economy Magazine and wnp.pl portal have awarded for the seventeenth time honorary titles named 'The one who changes Polish industry'. The distinction is given to firms and persons who have had a positive impact on the changes in Polish industry and the whole economy. On behalf of Warbud SA the prize was collected by Mr Mirosław Józefczuk, Board Member.

'I think that actually this is the place to gather all Warbud's employees, that is more than 1000 persons, who have work hard for that award.  I want to thank them. It is them who have been writing company history for 25 years now. It is them who turned a small start-up company set up in the beginning of the 1990s, together with Chairman Włodzimierz Włodarczyk, into the present shape with turnover exceeding 1 billion zlotys,' said Mr Józefczuk.

Warbud was distinguished for its reliability and activity in industrial construction. 'The company is stable, reliable and trusted by the market and partners. It is a construction company with a diversified business profile, active in Polish cities and effectively cooperating with administration bodies of all levels. It is a tireless promotor of public-private partnership projects,' as it is stated in the substantiation of the juror's verdict.

'This year's winners are individual people and teams of managers who implement innovative solutions in various ways, who create new values in Polish economy by brave consolidations and acquisitions, cooperating the European leaders of new technologies and introduce modern products to the market. They are consequent, responsible and trusted investors laying foundations for economic growth in Poland,' said Mr Wojciech Kuśpik, publisher of Nowy Przemysł and internet portal wnp.pl, and Chairman of the PTWP group.

The awards ceremony was the final event of the economic forum "Changing Polish Industry" held in Warsaw on February 6. One of the participants was Mr Jerzy Kwieciński, Vice Minister of Development.
