Warbud will build the reinforced concrete structure of 'Park Avenue' office building in Warsaw

On 20 May 2016 Warbud signed a contract for the construction of the core and shell of an office building with retail premises and underground parking at 70 Wspólna St. in Warsaw.

The Investor is the company Park Avenue 2010 Sp. z o.o. and the main designer - JSK Architekci Sp. z o.o. 'Park Avenue' is a Class A office project offering approximately 12 500 m2 of modern office space for rent. The building will be situated in the very heart of the capital city, in the direct vicinity of the Marriott Hotel, Central Railway Station and Złote Tarasy Shopping Centre.

The building will have from 7 to 15 storeys above ground level. The ground floor level will be partially reserved for shops. The structure of the building will allow the users to freely arrange their spaces whereas the significant amount of facade glazing will provide sufficient amount of daylight.

The new building will be built as a reinforced concrete structure. It will occupy the whole construction plot and will have the shape of the letter 'L'. The building will be made of two parts: medium height and high-rise part separated by movement joints.

In the basement floor there will be car parks, two water tanks, technical rooms, staircase of the high-rise building and a small staircase only for the underground floors which will lead outside the building. Garage ramps leading to and from the car park and connecting the garage floors will be the elements allowing for vehicle circulation. Near the staircases there will be lift shafts and riser shafts. All those combined elements will form a cross-section resembling a box and will allow for a vertical core operation of the independent parts of the building.
