Concession agreements and the provision of services in areas traditionally handled by the public sector have long been a natural extension of VINCI’s construction business. Through cooperation with other Group companies, in particular construction units, Vinci Construction has the legal, financial and technical resources at its disposal to handle complex projects in their entirety.

Specializing in the execution of large innovative public infrastructure contracts, VINCI Concessions also acts as a professional operator of public facilities under long-term contracts.

VINCI Concessions focuses on four areas of activity:

• road infrastructure and motorways: approximately 1000 km of motorways in France and 370 km abroad, seven bridge structures (928 km managed by Cofiroute, a company in which Vinci owns a 65% stake)
• parking areas: the company Vinci Park is the leader in the European market, managing 800 000 parking places within buildings as well as street parking areas
• airports: management of airports under concession contracts and provision of services for airports
• Stade de France (a modern sports stadium close to Paris): Vinci has a 67% shareholding in the site
