Within this category we construct residential buildings, offices, hotels, schools, retail centres and other public buildings. Since we began operating we have completed commercial buildings with a total area of over 1 400 000 m², and for two years we have been the unquestioned leader in this sector of the construction market. This is confirmed by our first places in ranking lists, and the confidence of investors who come back to us to work on their subsequent projects. Our completed projects include some of the best-known and prestigious retail centres in Poland. It is enough to list just a few of them: Galeria Mokotow, Arkadia, Blue City, Wilenska Retail Centre in Warsaw, Galeria Kazimierz in Krakow, and Poznan Plaza in the capital of Wielkopolskie. Our portfolio also includes outlets in Gdansk, Sosnowiec and Piaseczno, which are becoming ever more popular. We are currently building the Galeria Legnicka mall in Wroclaw and Plaza in Sosnowiec, and extending a retail park for Ikea Poland in Warsaw.

Many of our projects have achieved the distinction of appearing in a variety of ranking lists. The judges in the Building of the Year competition in 2005 made awards to Poznan Plaza (first place and gold trophy) and Outlet Fashion House in Piaseczno (certificate of merit), while Galeria Kazimierz won the Polish section of the competition run by CEMEX and qualified for the world final, which will be decided this autumn in Mexico.

We have been known for many years for our high-standard residential estates and luxury apartment buildings. Over the past decade Warbud SA has built over 1 000 000 m² of residential space in the whole of Poland. We work for leading Polish and foreign developers. Our greatest challenge in the field of residential building, as well as the largest residential project in Poland at the present time, is Marina Mokotow – a new town growing up in the heart of the Mokotow district of Warsaw. European standards and the modern lifestyle are reflected in the visionary approach of the international design team. 60% of the area of the estate is covered by parks and a lake, specially designed for residents of Marina.

The design has been recognized by national and international institutions. It has reached the final of the international competition organized by CEMEX in the residential building category, which will be decided this autumn in Mexico.

In the Building of the Year competition for 2005, run by the Polish Union of Building Technicians and Engineers, the Marina Mokotow project was awarded first prize and a gold trophy.
