"12th WPG SA Sailing Race"

WPG SA Sailing Race took place on 19-20 June on the Zegrze Lake. Seventy one teams from Poland and abroad participated in the event. Four races were organized. Warbud Sailing Team consisting of Dariusz Kostrzewa, Dorota Mrzygłód and Grzegorz Strzelczyk took 10th place.
VINCI team consisted of Piotr Kopeć, Tomasz Mołdysz and Kamil Sałamacha and took 12th place. The VINCI team won the prize funded by the Main State Geodesist for the best foreign company team.

Dr. Henryk Jordan Medal for charity work

Warbud’s President, Mr. Włodzimierz Włodarczyk, received Dr. Henryk Jordan Medal awarded by the Children’s Friends Society. The Medal, established by the CFS in 1974, is awarded for long-term disinterested charity, in particular for special merits in the field of recreation and sports promotion among children and adolescents.

Success for Warbud football team

Warbud SA took 2nd place in the Ambassador of France Cup football tournament. Twenty eight teams qualified to participate in the fourth edition of the event, which was presided by Ambassador of France to Poland, Mr. Pierre Ménat. The tournament was endorsed by Dariusz Kubicki (former member of Polish National Team) and Michał Listkiewicz (Chairman of Polish Football Association). On its march to the finals Warbud beat the teams of Olimpique de Marseille, Coplan, Lycee Francais, Saur Neptun Gdańsk, FM Logistic. Apart from Olympique de Marseille players, there were some popular players from first and second league teams, such as Cezary Kucharski and Dariusz Dźwigała. Witold Bogdański (Warbud SA) was chosen Best Player of the tournament and the title Best Goalkeeper was awarded to Grzegorz Pasztaleniec, also a Warbud team member.

The sailing race T4B Cup 2006 in Croatia

Warbud crew took 1st place in the sailing race T4B Cup 2006. The event took place on the waters of the Adriatic Sea off the coast of Croatia and lasted from 17th to 22nd September. The race was organised for several largest construction companies and was not only an entertaiment and sporting rivalry, but also as a charity. The first prize of 10 thousand USD will be handed over to the "Krwinka” foundation, which supports children suffering from leukaemia and cancer.

 'Partner of Sports 2006'

January 4, 2007 was the date for "Sports Gala 2006" which took place at the Musical Theatre of the City of Gdynia. Wojciech Szczurek, Mayor of Gdynia gave awards in several categories for outstanding achievement in amateur and professional sports and for actions aimed at the development of physical culture and promotion of the city of Gdynia through sports in the year 2006. Warbud SA was one of the companies which received the honourable title and the statuette of Partner of Sports in 2006.

Polish Sailing Championships 2006
Second place and silver cup in the Polish sailing championships for construction and development firms (the SailBud Cup) in Gizycko. The competition, run by Kalejdoskop Budowlany, took place on 12–14 May 2006 on the waters of Niegocin lake.

Radio Praga Award 2002
We received a “Friend of Radio Warsaw Praga” statuette from the General Committee on the tenth anniversary of the station’s launch. The station gave this award to Warbud for our active contribution to changing the image of the part of Warsaw east of the Vistula, by means of social, charity and business initiatives.
