 | | 'Polish Cement in Architecture' The jury of the contest Polish Cement in Architecture awarded a distiction to Warbud SA for the construction of the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia. This year’s was the 12th edition of the contest organized in order to present the potential of creative application of the concrete technology in the building industry. The contest has been conceived and and organised by the Union of Polish Architects and the Association of Cement Producers. The prize award ceremony was held on December 13, 2008 in Warsaw.

 | | Eagle of Polish Construction 2008 First Prize and the Golden Statuette of Eagle of Polish Construction in the second edition of the competition Eagles of Polish Construction in the industrial building category. The aim of the competition is to award companies which through their modern products, services, technologies, processes and organization and management methods create modern safe and competitive building industry. The jurors rated among others the activities of companies on the common European market, that is implementation of quality systems, personnel training, investment improving competitiveness, innovations, to-date achievements, activity in the business society and financial results. The competition was organized by the Association of Warsaw and Mazovian Employers, Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan and Europa 2000 Consulting Sp. z o.o. The Competition was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Infrastructure. The jury consisted of people from the world of business and politics.

 | | Medals for Merits to the Building Industry Warbud's President of Management Board Mr. Włodzimierz Włodarczyk, and Director General Mr. Jerzy Werle received medals for Merits to the Building Industry. The medal award ceremony was held on October 8, 2008 during the celebration of the Builder's day at the Porczyński Gallery in Warsaw. The medal is awarded for particular merits in the field of architecture and construction. One person can receive the medal only once. The medal is awarded by the minster of construction, spatial and housing planning. The rules and the procedure of awarding and also wearing the medal are included in the Regulation of the Council of Ministers dated April 30, 2002.

| | Polish Cement in Architecture Warbud SA was ranked 3rd in the competition for the construction of a sports hall and the modernization of School Complex no. 2 in Konstancin-Jeziorna designed by the bureau Bulanda, Mucha – ARCHITEKCI Sp. z o.o. This year’s was the 12th edition of the contest which is organized in order to present the potential of creative application of the concrete technology in the building industry. The competition was open to best architectural projects completed in 2006 in the domain of general, industrial and civil engineering construction. The contest was conceived and organised by the Union of Polish Architects and the Association of Cement Producers.

| | Eagles of Polish Construction 2007
Warbud was ranked 1st and obtained the golden statuette “Eagle of Polish Construction.” The competition is addressed to companies which create modern, safe and competitive construction processes thanks to their innovative products, services, technologies as well as organization and management methods. The jurors evaluated among others company activities such as the implementation of quality systems, personnel trainings, investment programmes to increase competitiveness and innovation, to-date achievements, active presence in the market as well as financial data.

| | Mazovian Company of the Year 2007
Warbud SA was ranked 1st and received the statuette Golden Eagle of Mazovian Business. The idea of the competition organised under the auspices of Mr. Adam Struzik, Marshal of the Mazovian region, has remained unchanged for the last 5 years. The main objective of the competition is to promote of best companies from the Mazowieckie region, regardless of the form of ownership of the company, its size or number of employees. Quality is understood as company’s actions aimed at effective functioning, involvement in the economic development of its own region, creation of new jobs, observing ethical codes in business as well as other forms of actions for the benefit of the community.

 | | Employer of the Year 2005 in Construction In this year's (11th) edition of the competition Employer of the Year in Construction the title and the statuette was awarded to Mr. Włodzimierz Włodarczyk, President of the Management Board of Warbud SA. The Jury recognised his contribution to the dynamic and multidirectional development of the company, his care for the professional development of his workers and for placing Warbud SA among the largest construction companies in Poland. |
 | | Mazovian Company of The Year 2005 Warbud SA was honoured in the fourth, 2005 edition of the Mazovian Company of the Year Competition, organised under the auspices of Mr. Adam Struzik, Marshall of the Mazowieckie province. The Competition Jury, which consists of personalities from the business and political circles, aims at honouring of companies actively contributing to the economic development of the region, creation of new working places, operating in accordance with high business ethics standards as well as actively participating in charities. The assessment criteria encompassed the financial results for the year 2005, implemented quality assurance systems, innovation and training policies.
