You are not alone

We have been providing regular support for the Single Mothers Home in Warsaw’s district of Białołęka and provide them with money, food, clothes, toys for children as well as with hygiene products. The association Wspólnymi Siłami (Common Efforts) has been giving shelter to maltreated women and single and homeless mothers or even to whole families who found themselves in difficult material situation. In the Home women with children who for various reasons could not receive help and understanding in their society and families may gather up their strength and find temporary shelter.
 

A child’s friend

We support the Children’s Friends’ Society (TPD) working for the benefit of the children who have very small chances for a good start in life due to their parents’ poverty, alcoholism or helplessness. Each year we sponsor charity concerts the revenue from which supports children raised in poor or pathological families. Thanking for the long-term cooperation, TPD awarded Dr Henryk Jordan Medal to Warbud’s CEO, Mr Włodzimierz Włodarczyk. The distinction was granted for achievements in the field of children and youth sports and recreation, among others for the organization of summer and winter holidays.

Food for schoolchildren

We regularly support the actions organized by the foundation Wspólna Inicjatywa (Common Initiative) which concentrates on the prevention of malnutrition among children. The organization, which closely cooperates with schools, collects money to finance lunches in school canteens for children from poor families. The initiative has a continuous character and encompasses Warsaw schools.
