We know that people are every organization’s most important resource, and therefore one of Warbud’s priorities is to support the development of our employees by means of a carefully chosen, modern personnel policy. To ensure professional management of our human resources, we implement HR management systems based on competences. We therefore pay attention to what knowledge, abilities and motivation an employee or potential candidate for a given post ought to have.

For that reason, in the course of an annual personal development meeting between each employee and his/her supervisor, conclusions are reached concerning the degree to which the employee currently meets the competences required in his/her position. Next, development goals are set, in order to eliminate observed gaps in the employee’s competences or to raise his/her level of competence, thus providing opportunities for professional development and promotion.

This approach means that employees are trained according to programmes which are specially designed for their needs and which are also in accord with the company’s strategy.

In order to improve the qualifications of its employees and enable them to develop professionally, Warbud sends staff on language courses and other specialist courses and training.

To ensure that our staff are suitably qualified, we also subsidize their studies at colleges and universities.
