DBE (the Environmental Building Directorate) operates throughout the country, focusing on engineering projects in the field of environmental protection. These include waste water treatment plants, water treatment stations, solid waste treatment plants, sewers and water pipelines. DBE’s main customers are public-sector investors, in particular local authorities and water and sewage boards.

 

DBE works in cooperation with leading technology firms from Poland and abroad, such as Biprowod, Ekosystem, CTBK, Katowice Municipal Construction Design Office, Siemens, Kruger, Veolia, Degremont and others. DBE works closely with several companies from the VINCI Group. In particular it makes use of the wide experience and human resources of Vinci Construction Grands Projets and SOGEA SATOM.

Projects completed by DBE:

• Construction of a Biological Waste Water Treatment Station for the AVON plant in Garwolin
• Reconstruction of the Radocha II waste water treatment plant, including the grid building, sand trap and sand separator
• Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Plant in Gilwa Mala near Kwidzyn
• Extension of the Collective Waste Water Treatment Plant (GOS) in Lodz (GOS is currently Poland’s largest waste water treatment plant)
• Sewage sludge disposal – construction of a complete station for the thermal drying of dehydrated waste, under a programme to modernize the waste water treatment facilities in Lublin
  
• Extension of the waste water treatment plant and sewerage system in Stare Babice district
• Modernization of the Radocha II waste water treatment plant and construction of the Bobrek interceptor under a project called “Waste Water Management in Sosnowiec"
• Construction of a water treatment station under a project called “Water and Sewage Management in Stalowa Wola”'
• Construction of Thermal Sludge Neutralisation Station at Waste Water Treatment Works in Łódź

• Design, construction and commissioning of the Thermal Sludge Utilization Plant at the Czajka Waste Water Treatment Works in Warsaw's district of Białołęka
